BloomRest™ WoolWrap 8‑Inch Cotton & Wool Futon Mattress

Naturally cushioned. Exceptionally constructed.

The WoolWrap Natural Wool 8-Inch Futon Mattress from the BloomRest™ collection is a firm, American-made Gold Bond mattress constructed with cotton cushioning, supportive foam and a plush layer of virgin New Zealand wool for comfortable sitting and regular overnight sleep.

At its center, two 1.5-inch layers of high-resiliency foam provide firm, dependable support. Approximately 50 pounds of cotton in the Full size surround the foam, while a two-inch layer of New Zealand wool wraps the cotton-and-foam core for additional cushioning and natural resilience.

A heavyweight cotton-twill cover, closely spaced lace tufting, center cotton crowning and double-stitched seams help keep the substantial internal layers securely positioned. The result is a durable natural wool futon mattress that feels supportive and substantial, rather than thin or temporary.

Who Is the WoolWrap Mattress Best For?

Choose the BloomRest™ WoolWrap if you prefer a firm, resilient mattress with the naturally cushioned feel of wool and cotton. For softer, body-contouring comfort, consider the BloomRest™ Visco Classic. For medium, buoyant support with less motion transfer, consider the BloomRest™ Encased Coil.

WoolWrap Mattress Sizes

The WoolWrap Natural Wool 8-Inch Futon Mattress is available in Twin, Full, Queen and King sizes. Measure your frame before ordering because tufted mattresses may finish approximately one to two inches shorter than their stated dimensions.

Inside the BloomRest™ Wool Wrap Mattress

Every layer has a distinct purpose. Two layers of high-density foam form the supportive center of the mattress. The foam core is surrounded by dense cotton batting, which gives the Wool Wrap its substantial body and cushioned feel.

The Full-size mattress contains approximately 50 pounds of cotton. Cotton content varies by mattress size.

A plush two-inch layer of virgin New Zealand wool surrounds the cotton and foam interior. Naturally resilient wool fibers add cushioning and insulating comfort while helping the mattress maintain its distinctive, substantial feel.

The layered interior is enclosed in a heavyweight cotton-twill shell constructed with separate top, bottom and side panels. Closely spaced lace tufts, additional cotton crowning and double-stitched seams help secure the internal layers and support the mattress’s tailored shape.

Premium Mattress Comfort for Flexible Living

A futon mattress should not have to feel temporary. The Wool Wrap combines flexible, tufted construction with the substantial profile and carefully layered comfort expected from a premium mattress.

It is an elevated choice for city apartments, studios, guest rooms and multifunctional spaces where comfort and versatility are equally important. Place it on a properly sized platform bed for a clean, low-profile sleep setting, or pair it with a compatible daybed or convertible frame.

Because tufted futon mattresses are designed to compress and flex, their finished dimensions may vary slightly from conventional rigid mattresses. Always measure your platform or frame before ordering.

Comfort and Firmness

Firmness: Extra firm

Best for: Sleepers who prefer a solid, supportive surface with limited sink
